After a break-up, that person is all you think about. Usually for days and weeks, sometimes months. Sometimes, years. Eventually, the mind focuses on something else or just becomes so numb, it doesn't even register anymore. One day, after years of being apart, a blast from the past walks into Luke's life for a trip down memory lane.

"He looked me dead in the eyes, every emotion I had ever felt for him, reflected back on to me in that moment, and I knew what was going to happen. I was going to fuck this up." Adeline Clark, 19, a florist in a small college town in Connecticut. A content life, in private, with her two friends and brother are all she really wants. Besides survival and safety. Blake Moore, 20, a musician who owns a music store in the same town. They've somehow never met, maybe that's because Adeline isn't from here, or maybe its because she never makes an effort to know anyone outside of her friend Evelyn and employee Genevieve. But this train wreck is just getting started, All they ask is to make it out of 1999. TW: Alcohol, Weed, Emotional/Physical Abuse, Violence, Mental Health. Criticism is appreciated as long as you are respectful. *Subject to change at any moment*

EDIT: 2015 - 05 - 22 **SOOOO Sorry this hasn't been updated in years, my laptop is broken, and no one wants to buy me a new one. My I.T father doesn't want to fix it -_- SO until then this story will be on hold, causer I refuse to use the ratchet app. IT'S RATCHET. Love, peace, and chicken grease** An ex- prostitute, gang leader, high school jock, and shy anti- social boy. Nineteen year old Rona is a loser. He has no friends, and all his family is dead. He doesn't mind being lonely, who needs people when you have yourself right? Especially if your scared of people. Wrong! Little did Rona know he meets the most perfect girl ever, and literally falls for her. He even goes so far to stalk her at her job. She has everything he would ever imagine in a girl, she’s like a cute female him (Subtract all his problems of course) When Rona gets sent to jail for almost participating in the act of prostitution by a false matchmaking company, he meets the number one gang leader in all of River dale who happens to play the guitar better than slash himself! Along with a high school jock and an ex- prostitute (also his new roommate) they start a band (against Rona’s will) under the influence his dream girl will fall for him. Along the journey he falls in love with music. Lies, Rock & Roll, Music, Love, Mental illnesses and a whole lot of Beyoncé. ~~~~ Each chapter will start with "How It..." I know it sounds cliche, but that's only because it is cliche as fudge. Like c'mon. It should be called "How It is cliche as fudge." RUDY MOORE should be happy, shouldn't she? She's a Manhattan native with a stable job as an accountant, and rich parents who support her regardless of what she does. However, she doesn't want anything of the sort. She dreams of an independent life, full of making her own decisions and not living by the dictation of her family. Now residing in a Brooklyn apartment -being a full reflection of her personality- it's covered in artwork created by her own hand (not to mention countless portraits of the Beatles). Besides the creaky floorboards and yellow lighting, she doesn't have much to complain about. Well, except her neighbor. What a shock that his rowdy midnight guitar playing doesn't excite her. She's never acknowledged him, nor asked his name, and doesn't plan on it. Could an encounter while passing by him in the hallway change that?

"Christ," I say, putting my kickstand down and getting out of the seat. "I almost killed you, buddy." I take my helmet off before I approach him (Her? Do animals even care to adhere to gendered pronouns? Liam would start lecturing me on assuming genders and stuff if he were here, but it's not like the dog can tell me and I'm hardly going to take a peek to find out for myself, so) because I saw on Animal Planet once that dogs get scared when they can't see your face. The Dog Whisperer is never wrong, therefore the helmet must go. "What's your name, buddy?" "Achilles," Says a voice from behind me, making me jump. "Jesus shit, that's, like, two near-miss heart-attacks in the last ten minutes." "Sorry." It's a guy. Broad shoulders, nice chest, chiseled face and his arms. He's smiling, though, despite the fact that I almost just killed his dog, so maybe all is not lost. "Yeah," I sigh, "Maybe don't let your animals into the street where unsuspecting motorcycle operators might accidentally hit them and consequently be scarred for life." He chuckles, "You're funny, kid." "Kid? I'm seventeen, firecracker. Can't be much younger than you." "Firecracker," He muses, "That's a new one." "Yeah, well there's more where that came from." I step back, letting him repossess Achilles' leash, sliding my helmet back on as I remount my bike. "Before you go," He says, "Can I get a name? A number? I have to repay you, obviously, for not killing my dog." "Addison," I say, "You're weird." "Nah," He says, "I'm Alex. Alex Santiago." I nod, flicking my face mask down and revving my bike back to life as he retreats to the sidewalk. "Maybe I'll see you around, then, Santiago." He grins, white teeth flashing against olive skin. "Maybe you will." Or a story about a (passably) charming girl who knows too many Snapple facts and falls in love with a boy.

UNFINISHED :(( After moving to Michigan with her family in 2014, Eliza Docherty's life becomes boring. She's insecure and lonely and she wants nothing more than to change that after everything she went through back home. She wants to see the world and to go back to Scotland and make memories like in the movies. But it's just so far out of her grasp, and in the present of 2018, she knows she needs to hold on whatever opportunities may arise. That's why when the rising rock stars of Greta Van Fleet appear out of the ordinary, Eliza takes a spontaneous leap into their world on tour, writing songs for them and forming unforgettable bonds of friendship. Yet, there's one certain member that becomes more than just a friendship to Eliza Docherty, and she hopes that one day Samuel Kiszka with feel the same.

Grace works a record store in a small town in Oklahoma. Barely anybody comes in the shop and she spends most days alone (with the exception of her best friend). Until a strange man walks through the door... TW: Cursing ----------------------- NOTES: I am aware there's already someone named Grace in the show, so for the purposes of this fic, she doesn't exist lol I'll mention a few things in the story like characters, what they do, etc. but it won't be in line with the plot I also can't promise the characters will be exactly how they are portrayed in the show. Just please try to enjoy the fic as a fic and don't expect it to be exactly like the show.

Just like the coming-of-age movie from 1995, this story takes place at the infamous Empire Records. It's 2019, 24 years after Corey Mason and AJ went off to college. After the pair graduate from college, they get married and have a daughter named Stella who has just turned 17. They had been living in Boston, but a work opportunity has brought the family back to Delaware. This story will center around Stella Mason who begins work at Empire and makes new friends and falls in love for the first time (relationship sort of inspired by Hardin and Tessa from After).
