Dear Diary. While I worked today, this stupid couple came up to the counter and started talking at me what they wanted, not looking at me, not caring. My hearing was off when they walked up, and they got mad when I asked them to repeat what they'd said and look at me while they did. They called me retarded. I hate when people call me that, they asked why I even had the job in customer service if I couldn't even hear the customers. Charlie had to take me out back to cool down while Frank turned the couple away and made them leave. It's not my fault I can't hear all the time, and it's their problem, and just plain rude if they aren't going to look at me when they speak. I've gotten heaps better at lip reading, so much so, that it's like I'm not deaf at all. But when people are rude like that, I just want to strangle them! ================= Tonya is a girl with hearing difficulties and a Mother who cannot talk. This is her diary in her own words, how she went through life, dealing with bullies, dealing with her impairment and figuring out how to get around judgmental people who only make her life more difficult. I didn't lie until I was four years old. It was just a small lie, as small as not being the one to eat the last cookie. Isn't that everyone's first lie? Its so typical, and unoriginal. The thing is, what I just told you was a lie. I wasn't four; I started lying as soon as I could talk. My whole life I have been lying, about everything and anything. But right now I won't lie, not to you, not again. Not after all the trouble it's caused.

A girl wakes up in a strange room after an eventful trip, a man sits across the table from where she was sitting.One thing lead to another, she tells him the story of the events that occured before she appeared in this strange room.

Throughout his average life, Joshua had heard the noice. A low tone that only reached his ears alone. He had questioned it, disregarded it and questioned it once more. It captured his mind. Within another night it came again. But this time, it had not come alone.

I hope this will be filled with interlectual thinking and achievements but it will most likely contain the fustrations of a teen with too many opinions. I will probably write a small amount daily.
