This is how my days usually end when it's "hometime" at high school. Hello! 2020 Audrey here. I wrote this on a whim, on my way home on the bus, actually. I was more or less describing what was happening around me. I think. Just thought I'd explain that. Don't know why I didn't put this detail here when I first wrote it, but here we are, I guess. I also fixed up some grammatical errors that I didn't pick up the first time. Hope you have a good day/afternoon/ night, wherever you are. Except this isn't exactly poetry so maybe not. Is this even precise and clear? My name is X. WAS. My name was X. I must advise my tale is not for everyone. If you are upset by mentions of suicide, self harm, abuse, rape, and murder, do not feel obligated to read my story. I don't want to harm. I lost everything at the tender age of 12. My life hadn't even begun. I had never been anywhere and I didn't have a good relationship with my family. I was in the seventh grade. I didn't know who I was as a person. And now I will never know. This isn't some inspirational story about someone who loses family and is then raped and ends up as an adult in therapy healing and living their life. Nothing about my story is inspirational. This whole story is a work of non-fiction. The names of people are changed, however all places and events mentioned exist or existed. My name is X. Let me show you my hell.

I have constructed this to express those children in London who were removed from their everyday lives and forced to live in quite opposite conditions.

And you might just come face to face with the mirror, you love to avert your gaze from, when you least expect it - being forced to take a good, long look at yourself. Modern-day fable or parable. Instant karma, they call it.. And what better time to clean up the mess you've made than RIGHT ABOUT NOW?

Living as a disbeliever in a country full of religious fanatics is never an easy thing.
