They took her away at the young age of ten. They claimed that they worked for the government, that they were there on behalf of Social Services.
But they lied.
She was kidnapped.
Taken off the radar.
And they had their way.
Now all grown up, she’s still functioning under their influence. She’s learnt to distance herself emotionally to get the job done and she doesn’t need anyone’s help to do it. But when trouble hits home she’s forced to be the one to find a solution. That in its self would’ve been enough for her to handle, but she’s not the only one that’ll be ‘fixing’ things. For the first time ever she’ll have to work with someone else, rely on someone else and trust in someone else.
And nothing could be harder.
