Somehow two best friends , Dylan and Raven, get caught up in what is called "The Midnight League". This is where teams made up of people between the ages of 16 and 21 battle each other with non-lethal weapons and state of the art technology in order to find valuable artifacts. And just like in every other story not everything is what it seems. There are questions that go unanswered like; why is the midnight league a secret? ; how do they get the highest tech? ; and why do the losing teams disappear off the radar? - - - (The blurb does sound quite cliche and my sincerest apologies) (This short story in being written in preparation for a comic book)

Through the annoyances, screams, prank calls, stone pebbles, food fights, and even dog poop, they must learn to manage the rage between them for the sake of this year's school play, considering their last year in highschool. With the past they had shared and a very interesting present they have, how will they be able to act as the main roles of the Shakespearean play that, for sure will lead them to embarrassment, contrary to happiness and joy of their crazy parents? And how will they fight each others feelings that were interrupted way back in middle school? But one thing is for sure, they would always set up tragedies for one another. "For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo."
