I wrote this when I was about 13 years old, and it is very heavily inspired by Stephen Crane's 'The Red Badge of Courage' to the point where it's basically a rip-off. In particular you'll note this in a lot of the imagery, and the explicit use of dialect in dialogue -- the latter of which I now regret. I love 'The Red Badge of Courage' and wanted to write something of the same ilk, but being Canadian decided to set it in the War of 1812. In hindsight the epilogue is horrifically cliche.

Elizabeth Woodhull had always been the perfect daughter. She never thought that she would turn against her father for the man she loved. With her brother fighting with her, she believed that anything was possible, but everything was at stake for herself, her love, and her country. She was one of the Culper spies for General George Washington, but would she make it out of this war alive?

Thomas Preston, General Gage's right hand man, has turned traitor and joined the rebels. A spy then turns up and everyone starts accusing Preston of leaking intelligence. Preston must find the culprit and clear his name before it is too late.

Jordan doesn't know why theyre after him, until he realizes that he stole something that they wanted. He finds out that he's a thief and is wanted in the future. How will he get back to the past if where ever he goes, he's being chased. Who will help him and will he make it? This is Jordan's greatest test, will he fail or succeed? PS! Sorry if theres a lot of mistakes and spelling mistakes! But it's very bloody story :) Hope ya'll like it
