On a quiet day in Megg Falls, Michigan, a family is murdered and the only survivor is their son. Shortly after the murders, the son disappears and is never seen or heard from again. 18 years later, a similar murder occurs in Megg Falls, leaving many people to speculate that it's connected to the one long ago.

She lived a wonderful life between the ages of five and eight, but as the years passed, darkness slowly crept in. At twelve, depression struck, and by sixteen she had fallen into the wrong crowd, drowning her pain in smoke and reckless choices. What she didn't know was that destiny was already preparing an encounter-with a man of discipline, a Taekwondo master, and a man of God-who would one day change her life forever.
