what if dhmis actually took place in a post-apocalyptic world? we're about to find out... (The description was originally supposed to be very long but it spoils the story I'm about to write too much °-°)

It's late at the little house, the lights dimmed and the house quiet. Well, for the most part. There's a quiet noise coming from the bedroom, but whatever could it be? (I don't own any of the characters mentioned in this story <3)

[This book has a non-binary reader, but you can imagine different pronouns for Y/N if you prefer to, I really can't stop you and it's not like it's wrong.] One night, Y/N sat on the couch while watching TV as nothing interesting happened. They didn't expect to be sucked inside a colorful world full of life from the "children" show they came across last night, so they go for help. What they didn't expect was to come across the same group from that same show. So, they join the small group and try to get them to help Y/N leave the world and go back home. On the way, they would come across friendship and love, but was heartbroken when they realized that they'd have to choose between going back home or staying with this new family. They missed the people back at home dearly, but they couldn't handle leaving behind these other people, especially their new found lover. (IF I NEVER FINISH THIF I DEEPLY APOLOGIZE)

Fighting for freedom, they realize what more you-know-who is up to Somewhere later, Manny wanders off into the forest. That's when he was found by a butterfly, who claims that he can help Manny with whatever problem be has. But as Manny followed the creature into the unknown, he soon discovers that he falls into a series of consequences... Sally Starlet is planning to host a grand musical play in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Welcome Home Neighborhood foundation. However, there's a huge problem. The musical needs a lot of actors to cast in the play and surely they can't have just 9 cast members Wally Darling pays a visit to his older brother Roy for his birthday. During the stay, Roy's son, Manny Sheldon, discovers the musical play invitation in his uncle's pocket and immediately wanted to go join the play. However, problem arises as the props and instruments to be used for the musical play, as well as some of the actors, went missing. It appears that there's someone among them responsible for these incidents. Both the crews of Welcome Home and DHMIS have to work together to catch the thief before the anniversary (most characters belong to Becky, Joe, and PartyClown)

Instead of working on the other fanfictions I posted on here, I'm gonna post an entirely new one because yes! I headcannon that Doi (Yellow Guy) is scared of thunder and the other two have to calm him down sometimes. That explains the first one. Using fandom names, so Yellow is Doi, Duck is Robin, and Red is Harry. Fluffyduck is implied because I'm garbage :) I stole the cover picture from a yt video, sorry if it's yours and i didn't ask permission to use it i just thought it was really funny Also, character heights: Red is tallest, Yellow is shorter than Red but taller than Duck, Duck is a gremlin
