They are working a case of a middle aged woman who was found dead on the banks of the Sacramento River. Along the way, Jane makes a little friend who is hiding more secrets than she appears to be.

Once upon a time, an agent named Lisbon fell in love with a cheeky consultant named Jane. Despite their effort to keep their relationship a secret, everyone found out anyway. With everyone, I mean a bazillion fans who'd do everything to get in contact with these two FBI agents, really, they'd do anything. Even if that includes making them break up with a devilish plan. Story takes place after ep 7x02 because why not. Disclaimer: I do not own the Mentalist or the characters. What I do own, are the fingers I'm using to type this story.

*Episode One* The series follows Patrick Jane, an independent consultant for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) based in Austin, Texas. Although not an officer of the law, he uses skills from his former career as a successful yet admittedly fraudulent psychic medium to help a team of FBI agents solve murders.

Sooooo this will be a collection of The Mentalist One-shots. I guess I will kinda swipe languages, because yea, sometimes I feel like writing English and sometimes I feel like writing German. Tho I guess the most of them will be English, since I - don't ask why - can imagine the scenes better in the original language. Uh, I have no idea what I'm talking 'bout. "Bleeding Love" is about the chemistry of Mentalist duo, Patrick Jane and his 'boss'(Whoever watched The Mentalist, never mind) Teresa Lisbon. And it speaks about the thoughts going on Jane's mind, about love. "The Psychic with the Vest" is a story-telling poem. I don't wanna ruin that thrill. You are welcome to read it on your own :D And, well, there's more than that, right? Poems always depend on the reader. They can be molded in different perspectives, and thats the best part, thinking!

My version of the first scene in season 6. Hope you guys like it!

Warning. If you haven't seen season 6 of the Mentalist yet, you shouldn't read this. Contains spoilers. Red John, everybody was busy searching for him, finding out who he was. And when they finally found him, he got killed immediately. Nobody ever questioned how he became such a terrible person? What was his life like before he started killing? Just a little peek inside the head and past of Red John before he brutally started killing people. Also, an idea of his thoughts during his time being a serial killer.

Post RJ and pre-Pike. Jane 'tricks' Lisbon into going on a date. The two are quite happy until things take a turn for the worst no one was expecting. Told from both character's POV.

Teresa's apartment had daisies everywhere: on the floor, in her garden, and flower pots brimming with them could be found in every room. This was more then an addiction, the mutilated flowers attest to that. It looked as though she had plucked all of the petals leaving only ten petals left on each flower. All of the discarded petals lay trampled on the floor. "Teresa?" It's as though she's in a trance, her one focus is the daisy she holds in her hand. Jane tries again, waving a hand in front of her but getting no reaction. In one swift motion he abruptly takes the flower out of her grasp and Teresa's blank expression goes to one of confusion. "How-wait, why are you here?" "Lisbon I've been with you this whole afternoon."

jane finds out a girl from his past is missing and is dead set on finding her will he find her and save her and who is she from his past.

Jane and Lisbon have a 19 years old daughter. What will happen when Red John's son come? Read and find out! I DO NOT OWN THE MENTALIST!

But can the CBI unit figure out the serial killer's plan before it's too late and one of the agents ends up being hunted as they had once done?
