After the team learns that their fearless leader Shiro survived the fight against the evil Zarkon and welcome him back to reassume his position Lance ultimately assumes the worse: That Keith would want his lion back and Allura would keep blue as she shows remarkable progress with it. Feeling useless to his team he secretly takes an escape pod and tries to go home back to earth on his own, wondering if everyone's lives would be better off without him. Coincidentally during his journey through space his pod stumbles upon a rift into an alternate reality. A reality where he never existed. Ok, so I wrote this story when I had only finished season 2, but I have watched all of the seasons now cause I found this draft. But basically Keith is really upset when Shiro disappeared, and the rest of the team is worried. May include trigger warnings!

Three weeks after fighting the Red Falcon, the paladins try to adjust to working with the Altean Alliance. But while the Alliance wishes to try pacifism at first and the Blade Of Marmora disagrees, the paladins are caught between the struggle to find a solution. The Zafarian Kingdom is now on the hunt for Voltron more than ever before and King Koara is hurt. Not being able to lead, King Koara appoints Haro to lead the conquering of worlds while Koara heals his wounds back on Zafaria. The paladins still feel the struggle to prove themselves as the new paladins of Voltron and to prove themselves a worthy opponent to the Zafarian Kingdom.
