It was meant to be a special occasion, but everything changes when KJ's seven year old sister vanishes at their father's wedding. All there is a trail of red flower petals leading to nowhere. Where did she go? What happened to her? All in the same week a new mysterious neighbour has moved in next door. KJ can't help but notice that there is something about her, and soon realises how Camellia resembles an older verison of his sister. *This is my entry for the Open Novella contest II.

"If you ever cut or break off my rose, you're dead," she whispered, pushing my face into the dirt. Something sinister is happening in the little town Cody calls his home. Cody's sister vanished without a trace. The police suspects that she ran off with someone. She would never do anything like that EVER in her life. When Cody decides to investigate this case by himself, he uncovers family secrets that would have been better hidden, and that his neighbors might know something that they don't want to tell him. While Cody's life is spiraling down into depression, would he still able to find his sister before it's too late...
