A wayward regency au one shot I wrote for fun, and because the concept wouldn't stop haunting my mind. ~ Trying to get back up after his ex-fiancé left him, Lord Arthur Pendragon relents to his friends and families idea of hosting a party in his family's estate. Although holding up hope for a new love that evening, he could not predict falling head over heel for a woman with haunted eyes, who secretly hides a crooked and wicked grin and a spark of intrigue unlike any he's glimpses before. After catching the sight of that side of her, and the way her families mistreatment severely dampens it, he finds himself sure of one thing. He's going to get her out their grasp, but doing so might be more tricky then first expected. Miss Harriet Frodesdotter is stuck in a hell of constantly being forced into a uncomfortable, lace covered, dress, into unbearably loud ballrooms, and dealing with condescending suitors that her controlling sister manages to steer towards her. The sudden approach by a Lord Pendragon does make her pause however, his sweet and concerned eyes appearing to be almost horrifyingly sincere as he offers to help her with her family issues. She doesn't trust him, he's not the first to claim to be her savour for purely selfish reasons, but something tells her that there's something more to him, and not in a bad way. ~ Content warning for ableism, family issues (including abuse, I don't perceive it as especially graphic, but it's there) and depictions of meltdowns.

After many encounters with magic, and nearly dying, 4 of the F7 have broken their curse while the last 3 are fine with how they look. Everyone thinks that the story has finally reached it's end. But that's just the beginning of it. There are 2 more threats that need to be resolved. That's when a mysterious girl drops into the fairytale world. Will she help dispel the threats of Fairytale Island, or will she be it's most dangerous villain? This is a fanfic about my OC x Jack from Red Shoes. Princess Dawn is the daughter of Belle and The Beast, she has the same curse as her father. She meets Jack on his farm before he becomes a prince and becomes friends with him, despite her father's disapproval. They get separated and meet up later in life. Also I am aware that the name of this OC is the same as the other OC for my Adaman fanfic. This was not planned and they are two very different people.

AUTHORS NOTE (edited): As this was written and finished before I learned about ableism towards little people in the original Snow White story thus properly introducing me to these issues, there might be some things in this fic that can read as ableist towards little people (or at least as ignorant). This was of course not my intent, but is still something I feel should be acknowledged, and apologised for. On some level I do not know if I'm just overthinking it, or reaching (I tend to do those things sometimes), but I still don't think I could go on without saying something, especially as this fanfic is supposed to in part comment on and go against ableism.
