(Canonically he is considered dead or MIA) In this story, it takes place after the events of Halo 3 going to Halo 4. Noble 6 and Echo 5 had left Reach mysteriously by ONI, and is reintegrated into the UNSC/ONI forces. After the Human/Covenant War had officially ended in 2553, the duo will be apart of a reactivated program by ONI, known as Project Freelancer. To help lead the way on the reconstruction efforts and safety throughout human territory. (And even go on convert missions against a resurfacing Insurrectionist movement and classified tests in the process as well.) The story is a 'reimagining' of Halo and is non-canon and is to be not taken seriously as this was an idea created back when I first played the games. The Ghosts of War is a prequel and pilot of my main series known as 'Halo Battle Buddies' and will lead up to the first book on where Halo Combat Evolved takes place. I never wanted to talk about it so, they gave me everything I wanted. I never asked for thousands of stuff. They just gave it to me. I have one friend, now. She's dead though. Which sucks. She keeps me company, talks sometimes and appears when she has enough energy. Usually she looks out for me. Like a big sister. Something I never had. I tried suicide a few times. They failed. Either that or I was caught. I stopped.

Set after season 5, Caboose ends up in the scp foundation because of an inter-dimensional traveler. From there, documentation of what happens after that is in the addendums in the story.

Agent Washington was part of Project Freelancer. But during his time there he didn't know that one of his sister's was taken from his home and was secretly enrolled into Project Freelancer after he was fired. She was the last Freelancer that the Director enrolled before he died. She was put into cryosleep before she was ever put into battle and was moved to Chorus. eventually two bounty hunter found her and told there boss Chairmen Hargrove about her. learning that she was in fact a Freelancer there Chairmen Hargrove decided to see her himself. She is taken out of Cryosleep and has no idea how much she has missed. eventually she finds her older brother. How will the family reunion go?
