Henry and Alex are happily married, have a teenage daughter, and an adorable dog. Life is great for their family. That is, until they receive some life-changing news and the family's world is turned upside down. OR: Henry and Alex explore the ups and downs of parenthood and life in an AU future fic where Queen Mary died before Henry stepped down, and he got to be his true self.

Despite his exhaustion, Henry can hear the smirk in Alex's voice from over the phone. "What on Earth are you planning Mr Claremont-Diaz?" "Don't you worry about a thing, baby." Alex chuckles and Henry can feel his heart race as the word dances over him. "You'll find out really soon, I promise." [or, Alex needs a break and taking Henry with him, whether he or the palace likes it or not.]

At this moment, Alex feels smaller than ever. Smaller than even the tiniest speck of dust in the universe. However, as he watches June pack, he can't help but think that he can pretend. Just for one more day, he can pretend everything's not going wrong.

Alex doesn't really like Henry, calls him his archrival and doesn't let go a chance for a verbal banter that sparked during Rio Olympics. The rivalry turns into fake friendship and from fake friends to secret rendevous which are not as easy as you think because Henry happens to be the Prince of England and Alex is the son of the US president. Alex truly hates himself. He hates himself all the way through packing his stuff, all the way down the stairs of his former dorm and all the way out to that truck that's been waiting on his ass all year. He hates that he has to leave Henry behind the most, however.

Henrys dad died when he was little, at least died in his royal family history. He instead made the choice to run away to go to France, change his name, change his looks, and get a new wife. With the new wife he had Nick, his other son. Which he sent overseas with his mother who married another man and lived with her other son. Beatrice knew all of this, she knew he hated being a royal and hated being related to the queen. She knew his plan because she had told him and had contact, which he had cut after telling Bea he had another son and new life. And Bea told Henry, will it go well? hopefully. warning- graphic language, fluff, angst, & suicide mentions

Alex is struggling to keep going while he balences school, exams, his new job he got from Luna, and his own brain. Henry can see something is wrong and wants to help. These are more like short fluffy one shots that connect to each other, there's no obvious connecting plot line.

hey!!!! small backstory - henry is the prince of england and at this point is 16. Alex is the presidents son, he's also 16 but turning 17 in a month. Henry attends an elite barding school in the english countryside. Alex has been getting into...you could say...trouble so his mother (the president) decides there is no other choice but to send him away to a mysterious elite boarding school in the english countryside the rest is history ig...🏳️‍🌈

It's not the fact that Alex has suddenly stormed Kensington to confront him that causes his stomach to lurch. No, it's that when he does, Henry does something that Alex most likely didn't think was possible. Henry's sure that him being a vampire didn't exactly appear on his mother's reelection year bingo card.
