Being The Flower Child, More a curse than any blessing. Elora always wondered why she had to be the flower child. The one to feel the pain of every blade of grass you crush under your foot, of every flower ripped in half, of every tree pulled from the ground. Elora lived deep in the dark woods, miles from any city or town. Elora's crys rang out through the night, but no one could hear her. Until one night, some one did.

December Blair is never the ideal woman. She’s plain looking, is never a good cook and her dream of becoming a professional artist is her first priority. But she can make a decision other women wouldn’t even think of doing, dealing with Fortuna. Fortuna happened to be a shapeless demon, hunting helpless human like December. Fortuna can give anyone ten more years to live by taking them out of the person who is willing to make a deal with her. And for the rest of their life Fortuna will shadow them like a ghost, glorying on their most horrible nightmare.
