CASSIE had always felt something different, and she didn't know why. She had something different, but she didn't know what. This is the reason she was recruited by Carter Grey, a cold-hearted man who raised her like a daughter. He found her when she had no one. Then he trained her and finally made her feel part of something important. One day, everything changed. That day something more happened. Cassie had a nightmare that seemed so real to be just a simple nightmare. She dreamed of four people - three men and a woman - and their journey through space. She didn't know their names, she didn't even know their face. They were just faded figures to her. But Cassie could hear them. She could heard their thoughts, their determination, their fear for what they called mission. She could hear them talking to each other and laughing, probably at something funny. And suddenly, she couldn't hear them anymore. But she felt. She didn't know what had happened, but she felt the effect of an explosion on her skin. She woke up, suddenly, frightened, starting to breathe again. She couldn't hear those people anymore, but she still could feel the effect of her nightmare. On her skin. After that night, Cassie started to have nightmares. Every time, a different one. Every time, she lived a nightmare in her dreams. She heard - voices, sounds, noises, screams - and she felt -warm, cold... Everything. And, every time since that night, the marks of her nightmares were imprinted on her skin. A sign appeared on it. Every time. A nightmare. A sign. A star. Every time, until the moment that happened. And that day, maybe something began to make sense. Because the marks on her skin - those stars that appeared after her nightmares - seemed to have created something... A CONSTELLATION.
