She managed to come across the Struckers, and convinced them to take her in, even with Reed, who eventually became a mutant prosecutor, and thought that mutants were dangerous. Kate was empathetic, and wanted Morgan to be her own child. Morgan Grace became Morgan Strucker, the eldest of the three Strucker siblings. Even though Lauren and Andy, the original Strucker children, were confused at first, they welcomed Morgan in, and allowed her to be their sister. Nine year later Andy's power manifest, and the whole Strucker family are on the run, and manage to join the mutant underground, and this is where Morgan's story really begins.

So, to say she was surprised when her powers manifested at the age of fifteen was an understatement. Sure, she knew one person who carried the X-gene, but nobody in her family did. Confused and scared, Dylan ran away from home. She was on the run for years when a strange woman approached her with a daunting task.

Lauren and her twin sister Abby get their powers during the same near car crash, While Lauren's powers were easy enough to hide Abby's powers of telepathy and telekinesis made it hard for her to hide so she ran away to find others to help her learn to control her powers, enviably finding the Mutant underground and joining their fight. Then three years later her brother Andy nearly demolishes the school and she is forced to face the family she left clashing with the family she's made.

She wanted to help those in need. Having to hide who you are from people who don't understand isn't what ivory wanted as a mutant, and because of that she was recruited by John Proudstar and Lorna Dane at the age of 18 to make a difference in the mutant community. [Marvel The Gifted] [Season 1]
