Two stories about accident in sports. #1 I hate referee! The year is 1982 Event: North American Boxing Championship (Final) Cuban Pedro Cardena VS Willie Dewitt The manager is silent for a long time. The reporters are waiting impatiently for explanations. Why? Pedro Cardena has knocked out referee Bart Lowes. It's just an accident? Well... #2 Skating or Wrestling? I wipe away my imaginary sweat. It's winter time so I didn't sweat that much. Still all of their attention made me nervous. The press is gathering around me like hungry wolves. "Why you quit, Ms. Katarina? You were his partner, weren't you?" asks a male reporter. "For personal reasons. Now I'm his manager," reply I calmly. "Sound fishy to me," says the male reporter, a bit too handsome guy. A hug from behind. And he whispers, "Sorry, I'm late. Let's go." "Are you okay, Dimitri?" ask I. "Fine. Just a broken neck," says him coolly. Day 1 in Olympic winter games, and poor Dimitri has suffered serious neck injury. And it's all my fault...

I have recently begun refereeing basketball, thanks to the Pacific Northwest Basketball Officials Association. This, at the same time I'm playing my last year of Middle School basketball. With $25+ at stake per game I referee (or an hour of service learning credit to graduate middle school), and a title-winning team to play for, and to top it all off, my school life, we'll see if I can handle wearing the stripes, the jersey, and my street clothes all at the same time. A/N: It says "public domain", but if you wish to use my work, please give credit!]] A/N: Until I retire from being a ref, this will be forever a WIP.
