Orphaned young and raised Irish-American, Josephine Dare learns early how to endure loss. Drawn to medicine for its order and purpose, she enters the U.S. Army as a surgeon just as the world descends into war. On December 7, 1941, Josephine is stationed at Pearl Harbor when the attack begins. Shot amid the chaos, she refuses evacuation and continues operating, saving lives long after her strength should have failed. By nightfall, her actions have already become legend. She survives the Pacific Theater, carrying the weight of relentless casualties and impossible decisions, before being transferred to England, where she is embedded with the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment-Easy Company. There, war becomes intimate and unrelenting, measured in mud, blood, and exhausted men who trust her with their lives. Among paratroopers hardened by combat, Josephine becomes a constant presence-a healer who never looks away, even as the cost of survival carves itself into her bones. Each operation leaves its mark. Each loss follows her into the dark. As the fighting intensifies, Josephine must confront the truth no training can prepare her for: courage does not make one invincible. How much can a single person endure before the weight of war finally breaks them? Now returned from the Pacific and sent to England, Elsa is assigned as regimental surgeon to the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, men preparing for an invasion few expect to survive. Among paratroopers and officers hardened by loss, she becomes their constant-patching bodies, steadying nerves, and carrying the weight of every life placed in her hands. But endurance has its limits. As D-Day approaches, Elsa begins to confront the cost of survival, the quiet damage left by heroism, and the terrifying truth that even the strongest can break.

The war ended without victors. Only ruins remained. Andreana, once an officer shaped by duty and now hunted as a fugitive, escapes into the ruins of a country that discarded her. Erich, the medic who refused to stop saving lives even after the war swallowed everything, chooses to follow her into the ash. As the borders close and winter deepens, their only chance is to flee to Cretea, a country that may or may not accept what is left of them. But the journey forces them to confront more than hunger and ruins. It forces them to confront themselves, their past, their guilt, and the bond forming between two people who were never meant to survive this long.

Jessie Bondririas is a young girl with everything she has ever dreamt. Until one day when war breaks out. She's captured by enemy forces. She's enslaved and is forced to serve their army or else she would be killed. They storm her hometown's refugee homes and must watch her parents be killed. She had to suppress her pain and grief. She gets depressed and thinks that there's no remaining hope, until she meets a couple of teens her age from the other side of the fence. They're citizens of the enemy's country but are Christian and super nice. They become her friends and show her the gospel. She rejects it at first, but is eventually led to believe. They give her a small Bible and she cherishes it. She reads it every second she can, but when she tries to share the gospel with another inmate, he throws it to the ground and the guards see it and seize it. So she begs her friends to give her another one but with the new fencing it would not fit. So they wrote verses in pieces of paper each day. She memorized everything that she could because she knew that if they found it they would take it. And also Canva created the cover as well as additional information added by me and the scroll from CleanPNG.com. And in this book the character struggles with manipulating others and cursing, but anything curses word will be (definitely i do not curse in real life or my writings) covered like this: @%*# or something similar.

They tried to break me. Locked me up. Branded me a traitor, a rebel, a troublemaker. But they forgot: Truth doesn't live in laws - it lives in the heart. This is the voice of someone they tried to silence - but failed. Who chose exile over betraying himself. Who lost everything, except his voice. And now, that voice speaks. "I'm not a hero. I'm not a martyr. Just someone who refused to stay silent." Slam poetry based on a true story - about political persecution, survival, inner freedom, and how sometimes, a single word can save a life.

What if we found intelligent life in the universe? What would happen if they came to us not as enemies, but as refugees? Cipher is a stranger in a strange land. From a different world. He has spent most of his young life preparing to represent his people among the humans, proving that Aeolians can live among humans. He and several others are enrolled in schools scattered across the world. But integration is never easy, and as one of the first Cipher must bear the brunt of it. Will he succeed in his mission or is it too much to ask of someone so young? ***If you're looking for the Cipher from my short story "Not Alone" this is the fuller story*** ***Warnings*** I don't really know how to do this... There is bullying (verbal and physical), some violence, very mild and few 'bad words' (let me know if you see more I need to add) ***This is a first draft of my original story I hope to publish one day so constructive criticism and feedback is much appreciated**

Aine is on her way to a nursing home placement when her granddaughter gives her a toy goblin, but SETI has other ideas. "I don't want to go." I sat beside my daughter, who had the most miserable expression I'd seen on her in 19 years of life. She held a backpack with woefully little room for 65 years of my collection. Outside the window of the bus, I watched old mansions of Inman Park with their dead trees and bushes. I guess that's me, now. "Granny, I don't want you to go, either." Luna, my 4 year-old granddaughter, hugged me with her smelly goblin toy my daughter's sorry ex gave her for her birthday last week.
