But when American hotelier Derek Montgomery comes to revolutionise her little, sleepy English village of Ascot, Rose starts to revisit the idea of falling in love. However, Derek brings with him many secrets and obligations, some that might prohibit him from pursuing Rose -- and push her into the arms of her friend, Michael Cornell, the Marquess of Juniper. In the glittering ballrooms of Regency England, a new season of scandals and glamour is about to begin in the city of Bristol. This book reimagines the chaotic, messy world of the TV teen drama 'Skins' through the lens of empire‑waist gowns and the ruthless social politics of the ton. As each generation of youths step into high society, they must decide whether to play by the rules - or burn the entire social hierarchy down! ~ This book contains things like scene rewrites, storyline retellings in this new regency era and more. All 3 Generations will be covered! Please keep in mind that this definitely is not 100% historically accurate to the time period. To give you all ideas of timelines that each Gen has, I've included them below, just to get a general idea when each gen is set in the period etc and maybe to set the scene a little: 💋 Gen 1: Set from 1811 - 1812 🖤 Gen 2: Set from 1813 - 1814 ✨ Gen 3: Set from 1815 - 1817 (I won't be including the 3 spin-off's, a.k.a Skins Pure, Skins Rise and Skins Fire, however they may be mentioned as a one off or if anyone requests me to do them in some way!) So sit back, relax and enjoy this Skins (slightly) regal retelling ✨

Enter a disenchanted future of London-- escape to the enchanted past. Wren and historian Ali find a spell that takes them to the Victorian Era, which is better and worse than their expectations. They'll encounter magical orders, secret societies, and royal families. In a quest to rediscover magic in the past to somehow save their dystopian future their journey continues as love, loss, and magic systems open themselves to them. Magics explored: Hermetic Pentagram Magic, Astrology, Onmyōdō, Mesmerism, Cabala, Planetary Pentacles, Cunning work and much more! While certain liberties (the imaging of magic, the conclusions about the Death of King George III) are invented or exaggerated, but I've based about as much of this as I can on real historical facts! (Ali would be proud.)

Kang Sei-ji had one job: survive the novel quietly. That should have been easy. After accidentally transmigrating into a painfully cliché romance fantasy novel she rage-read at 2 a.m., Sei-ji quickly realizes she didn't become the heroine, the villainess, or even an important side character. She became Ophelia Sterling - an underpaid, overworked lady-in-waiting whose greatest talent is staying out of trouble. Naturally, the universe refuses to let that happen. Because the story is broken. The saintly heroine wants nothing to do with the Crown Prince. The terrifying Duke of the North keeps defending the so-called villainess. The Crown Prince is acting suspiciously - yearning. And Lady Elena Laurent - the woman doomed to become the story's tragic villainess - is somehow kinder, smarter, and far more exhausted than the novel ever mentioned. Meanwhile, Sei-ji is stuck watching the entire plot derail in real time like a flaming carriage rolling downhill. Worse? Three dangerously attractive men suddenly develop an alarming interest in her: a genius mage with boundary issues, an absurdly devoted knight commander, and a secretary who smiles like he's already hiding several crimes. Now Sei-ji must navigate collapsing romance routes, noble scandals, political chaos, and a cast of beautiful people making catastrophically bad decisions - all while trying very hard not to become important. Unfortunately for her, the novel seems to have chosen a new main character. And it might be the sleep-deprived side character desperately trying to escape it.

Now I have a month to break an ancient curse, catch a killer, and try not to fall for a man who could literally tear me apart. Some research projects are deadlier than others.
