Monachopsis - the subtle persisting sense of being out of place Sir Reginald Hargreeves adopted eight extraordinary children and made the Umbrella Academy. One day, a troubled kid ran away from the academy. No one saw them ever since. But when the old man dies and the siblings have to reunite after years of not talking to each other, a series of strange things begin to happen. I crouch down in front of the girls body, and raise her sleeve. What the hell. No, this can't be possible. There were only seven. "What the fuck..." Diego says what we were all thinking. I turn to look at them, all of them also in utter shock at what we are seeing. I take her wrist in my hand, and run over the black outline that covers her skin with my thumb, to make sure it's real and I'm not just imagining it. But it doesn't wash off. It's there clear as day. A black umbrella with the number 8. -- Vanya is not in this story ! and Five is actually 16 years old, not the older version of himself in a younger body (putting that in a love story just felt very weird to me lol) I don't own any of these characters except Tessa Romano :)

On the 12th out of the first day of October 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth. This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began. Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer, resolved to locate and adopt as many of the children as possible. He got seven of them. As well as Sir Reginald hargeeeves another woman called The Hanlder became hold of the extraordinary children and went to look for them. She got two of them. After working with five for almost 4 years he decides to quit and disappears without taking Lilith with him. But the new Mission Lilith gets as the Handlers daughter she needs to make a decision between betrayal,revenge and forgiveness.
