Twenty One Lumens is set in the far future of the year 3008. Humans reside on a planet name Astraeus, protected by a organisation created by a mysterious married couple, Galen and Yelena, called Lumina Corporation, whom are the protectors of the planet, anti government agents, with characters from different backgrounds and sizes. As a kid you see a whole world of color and it's beautiful. As we get older, slowly the colors start to fade away. It's something that every person goes through. Color completely disappears on or slightly before your eleventh birthday. There's no avoiding it and growing up your parents warn you to enjoy the color while it lasts. You really don't know how much you love looking at simple things in color until you can't see them anymore. Everyone talks about the color coming back. Once you lock eyes with your soulmate, the colors come flooding back. All girls dream about when the colors will come back. Five long years you are forced to live without color. It's the universe's way of making things fair, everyone loses the colors at the same time and everyone must wait until they turn sixteen to have the chance to see them again. Of course, there is a catch though, you and your soulmate need to both be sixteen before the colors come back. The only part that completely sucks is there's no telling when or where you'll meet the supposed soulmate. Plus, in a lot of cases you may not even like your soulmate nor ever talk to them again. Some of us don't meet our soulmate until years after the color disappears. Some of us have known them our whole lives and when you turn sixteen seeing your next-door neighbor, your childhood best friend, or even the jerk that tormented you through elementary, could suddenly bring them back.
