The fact that the abduction case is so famous is most likely why Hermione came across the article almost immediately when she started her roam through the library. - In the dead of night, a stranger penetrated the wards around Malfoy Manor. Eleven of the thirteen children in the house were taken. Nine year old Nymphadora Black and one year old Draco Malfoy-Black were the only children to escape abduction, being saved by a house elf who caught the intruder in the act. By the time the elf was able to wake the adult occupants of the manor, the children and mystery wizard were gone.

As Regulus lies in the hospital bed recovering from injuries caused by Infiri, he finds himself in need of something to distract his mind from the darker thoughts crossing his mind. It's also the third story in the Nightingale Mirror series of the Upside Down Mirror universes. It should also be noted that certain things have changed regarding the Good Witch timeline/canon. - Middleton is relocated to Great Britain. - Grace and Nick both turned eleven during Regulus final year at Hogwarts - Nick and his father Sam moved to Middleton because of unexplained events happening around Nick. - Brandon is twenty-five and Lori is twenty-three, give or take when their birthdays are. - Cassie is forty-four. For this story, I'm going with Regulus going into the cave during his winter school break and him not actually having yet turned eighteen.
