Would she be able to save the Empress and through that favor gain power and close the brothel down for good? Or would the original plot unfold and Melody kill the Empress and sabotage Zarah who swore to protect her? What happens when Zarah finds herself drawn to the Empress Ines with such a force that feels like it's crushing her ribs ? When Ines known for being cold and unfeeling can't look away from Zarah and her heart aches when apart? When love blooms where no one expects?
