I never would wish anyone to lose their mate by rejection nor death. I never would wish this on my greatest enemy or my best friend. I knew what it was like to survive without a mate, and I couldn't help but pray that no one had to face it inside my pack. I couldn't help but pray to the Goddess for everyone to find the happiness that I had deserved but never had gotten. And, as I watched as he struggled, I couldn't help but wonder as to who would think to reject an Alpha that deserves the world for putting up with my shit.
