Miri grew up in Staten Island, New York City. Her little neighborhood was close-knit; everyone knew each other and were always friendly. Well, if you asked her when she was growing up, she would have said most of the folks were friendly. There was one boy from down the street, named Sal, and he lived to drive Miri crazy. Later on in life, when she needs her friends by her side, will Sal be someone on whom she can depend?
