I walked along a quiet street, With heavy steps and tired feet... The world was bright, but in my mind, A deeper shadow stayed behind... For life is swift, and life is grand, But hard to hold inside your hand... Then you arrived, a sudden light, That made the heavy days feel bright... You taught my frozen heart to beat, And made the bitter moments sweet... I thought that love was meant to stay, To chase the lonely clouds away... But promises can fade and break, Like ripples on a quiet lake... You said goodbye, the doors were closed, A sharper pain than I opposed... Now love is gone, and in its place, An empty room, an empty space... Yet through the tears that start to fall, I learn to stand up through it all... For life goes on, and hearts can mend, Even when we reach the end... Though darkness falls and hope seems far, I'll find myself right where you are- Not in your arms, but in the light, That helps me breathe through every night...

"A Bet Lost" is a poignant reflection on the fragility of promises and the cold transition from devotion to indifference. Through evocative imagery of blooming Sakura and "innocent eyes" that eventually betray, the poem captures the painful trajectory of a relationship that begins with a gamble on "forever" only to dissipate into the hollow finality of "whatever." It is a raw, cynical, yet beautiful exploration of how time and distance can turn a once-vivid love into a mere "act of wait."

"How can stars describe the ways of our sun" Love under a dying star is poetry book part of a passionate collection under a name which is yet to be revealed. It is the continuation of Love like broken clouds and takes readers on a journey through a relatable story of depression, being pulled out of depression and love. The poetic persona hopes to encourage readers to love themselves first. For if you do not love yourself, how can you possibly love others?
