There Exists a world in which select People Are born with certain Natural Affinities. These affinities Manifest inside their user to the point where they can call upon them on command. Anyonewith Control of These Powers are known as Operators. Most Operators Can trace the source of their power to a direct element. Though Crossing of these affinities can happen in production of offspring, Though as Affinities are anorganic part of these people the production of a new Affinity is greatly governed by Genetics with certain Affinities tending to Be more Dominant and outperforming more Recessive Affinities. Operators did not always exist,they happened upon humanity after the majority of Humanity was wiped from theface of the earth by an Unidentifiable Virus. The surviving 40% Was pushed into a forced metamorphosis by this event to increase their survival rate andadopted these Affinities. The years following the Disaster, known by thegreater population as the "Aftermath", Was a time of worldwide panic. The discovery of these Affinities Brought about the creation of Gangs, Cults, and Armies. Slowly the Unease subsided, and the world shifted to a state of peace for themost part. Less and less Operator combat was observed, and many like-minded operatorstook to the creation of civilizations and governments.
