He sacrificed himself to put an end to the overlord's menace and tyranny plaguing the city. Deity is..abnormally silent, despite crying and being restrained by Cole at the moment of the explosion. Does she know something the others didn't? Why wouldn't she tell anyone? Why wouldn't she tell Cole?
