His was the task now, the one that brought him into the city of heroes, the place where the strong, the wise and the brave abound, and where a very special person is waiting to be found.

Short poem that has few consistency but a lot of truth. I wrote it all of the sudden and it was like a quick introspection and description.

In a world where you are assigned a primary emotion at birth... judged your whole life. Ridiculed. * Anthony Tyson Atkins. "I was assigned "Anxious." I am constantly in a zombie apocalypse. Fight or flight mode. I have always had a preference for 'flight', because it makes me feel safe in a dog eat dog world. I AM AFRAID. Is that a second emotion? Yeah, we have emotions related to our primary. Terrifying. And being the only negative emotion in my family... I deserve a break. If I had a dime for every recessive gene that befell me, I could legally change my emotion. I'm not kidding." Anthony, a cynical, sarcastic, and anxious sophmore struggles to cope with his identity. He was assigned 'anxious' at birth and constantly resides in fear, often isolating himself from the world and cursing to what he was born as. He must learn to accept his fate by interacting with his family, facing fears, meeting other conflicting emotions and face awkward day-to-day situations under his own discovery that maybe living life as a negative emotion isn't so terrible after all.
