We are always moving into an unknown, yet anticipated future. In that maelstrom we come into unexpected territory. The biographical, and fantastical tale of the life of one Gilder Ableton. Our hero is the linchpin of grand societal movements. The prophecy that ties his life together, and animates soon spins out of his hands, carrying him over into the unknowns of what is possible. The question to be carried throughout is if, once you get what you want, where do you go with it?

Fate is a funny thing. It is an uncontrollable, unyielding force of nature. The Gods themselves are unable to change it. But with fate, there is also a sense of peace, for you cannot change the outcome. A person unhappy with their circumstance can blame bad fortune, but if they are pleased by their life events, then they can praise the Gods. Do you see? The role of the Gods is to take the fall or the praise for how fate runs. Is it better then, to be subjected to fate with no hope of changing it? Or should free-will be given to the people on the Earth, to allow their choices to shape the path of their lives? For with free-will comes a great cost. With free-will comes the blame of a person's downfall, and even with good choices, another's free-will may hamper their progress to a better life. What say you? I say that Fate should define someone and rigid rules need to be in place for everything to work. Relying on the Gods is the only way to rid my country of its curse.

Short writings I made about my fantasy series. Most aren't related. Most also won't make much sense without background information, though you can still read them if you'd like. I'm mainly posting these so that there's a place to keep them, and so those curious about Yandorix can read about some of its characters. Most of these are not meant to be that professional, so there may be awkward sentences and errors. A Rebirth was also written far before everything else and I believe it to be the best written, I used an entirely different program for it so it will look a bit different.
