Mary Dotter, a blonde haired tween with the most mysterious gray eyes and an unusual mark on her forehead, is living unhappily with her cold and dreadful Uncle Pearce and her cheery yet cruel Aunt Vivica. The couple are Atheists, without any children of their own, and they renounce all things even remotely religious or spiritual. Mary spends her days and nights upstairs in the small, cramped attic of the house, having to pretend that everything is okay, that she is not spiritual at all in the slightest, that she doesn't need parents, and basically that she doesn't exist. But, when one day, a mysterious envelope is addressed to Mary Dotter in the cramped attic upstairs, her entire world is about to change in incredible ways. Within this envelope, she recieves a letter of acceptance to the Mothward School of Spiritual Arts and Christian Sciences, a prestigious and renowned school that she has never heard of before. After some chaos and a few big revelations (along with the arrival of a new friend), she realizes that her parents were not religious nutjobs who got themselves killed in a house fire accident afterall, but rather that they were deeply respected and skillful members of a magical, Christian community who were frighteningly murdered by a nefarious enemy Who Should Not Be Named. Join Mary and her new friends, Rhonda the Wesley and brainy Hermes Gerallt, as they make their way into the holy grounds of Mothward for the first time ever, led into the school by none other than the gentle giantess Hagar (who they all love immensely). Of course, the revered Head Mistress of Mothward, Lady Deborah Damure, is patiently awaiting Mary's arrival...As is the forsaken enemy, He Who Should Not Be Named, who is hiding somewhere within the dark recesses of the earth, desperately waiting for Mary to fall into his deadly clutches...

A darkly satirical tale about bureaucracy, belief, and what really waits on the other side.

    • • • ✞ • • • A twist on the K.J.V Bible with fictional concepts of supernatural icons such as Dracula. This was based solely on a piece of writing I found from when I was in high school. I then decided to build on it after seeing my writing teacher put "I'm sure you have such a sprawling story but this was not the assignment." Shortly after I developed this story series that my teacher saw as sprawling someday. However, I didn't go to him after he requested me to, to develop the story. I just found the time to write this on my own and I really love how it turned out, a story series possessing novel-like material. P.S - This is first person p.o.v. You are reading as Amethyst, referred to "I". Enjoy. ♡

At Growing Boys' Charter Academy, confession is ritual, silence is sacred, and love is a risk no boy is supposed to take. Riley Koa arrives with a duffel bag, two bruises, and a name whispered wrong. Marked as "The Quiet One," he sketches thighs in the margins of worksheets and writes letters he'll never send-especially to his brother, Bailey, who was taken from him at the last foster home. When an anonymous message from "Lunchbox22" appears on his screen, Riley's world begins to unravel in whispers and cinnamon. As the connection deepens-with secrets passed in gum wrappers, touches beneath stage lights, and poems folded into gym shorts-Riley finds himself torn between Cove, the boy who kissed him into poetry, and Brady, the rival who kisses like confession. But at GBCA, love is forbidden, masculinity is a weapon, and the line between sacred and sinful is razor-thin. Under faculty eyes and chapel walls, Riley must decide: will he protect his heart-or let it burn? Told in lyrical prose, poetic fragments, and unsent letters, GBCA is a haunting, tender, and fiercely defiant story of queer boyhood, religious repression, and the kind of love that dares to say yes even when silence says no.

slowly but surely, with the rise of the New Era, the Norse gods have slowly lost control of their power and health. many lay sick, or worse. but, now, the Forsaken ones have made their way into the equation, and many of the gods have begun to slowly become young once more. however, many things are still a mystery, and there's business to be settled. this is an original idea with no inspiration from anything but Norse mythology. I would prefer if no one used this idea for a story or anything such as that. enjoy!
