It varied where it was on one's body, but there were always a few consistent features for each person: it had their soulmate's ability level, eye colour and it would glow anytime they activated their ability, like their eyes would. At that very moment, Seraphina had pulled back the sleeve on her left forearm as she stared out in horror at the scene unfolding before her. The 7.5 showed on her forearm near her wrist with a burnt orange-gold glow.

In this world nothing matters but power. Society has a strict hierarchy, the strong hold all the power and influence. Beating anyone weaker than them with little to no fear of consequences, because there is none, if you're strong you can do whatever you want. if you are weak then you better keep your head down and don't piss off someone stronger than you, because society sure as hell won't care what happens to you. In the world, the strong are expected to be perfect, to command respect and authority with their mere presence, to be leaders and role models and beat anyone who doesn't show them that, cause who are the weak to talk back and disrespect the strong? They need to learn their place. But what happens when one of the strong isn't like that? He isn't perfect, yes his power commands respect but they don't respect him for who he is, they respect him out of fear what he will do if they don't show it. He isn't a perfect role model, he isn't the top of the class, he isn't formal, he doesn't rise up and lead like he's expected too. And he's completely fine with that. He doesn't live to meet their expectations.

"You really thought you could get away with that?" He moved closer to be and I could feel my body reacting to the closeness. He put an arm around my waist and pulled me flush up against him. "I was planning on it." "You thought wrong then." He dipped his head and crushed his lips to mine. His scent immediately filling my nose. I closed my eyes and reveled in the sensation. He pushed me up against the wall and fit himself between my legs. I moaned against his mouth as I wrapped my legs around his waist. Digging my fingers into his back I sucked on his lip and smiled when I heard him growl. He pressed harder against me and my head flew backwards. It was like eating my favorite candy.
