The miracle of the Qur'aan is an everlasting one, which is renewed until the Last Hour, and which may be known to all people in spite of their different cultural levels and historical times. The Bedouin in the desert as well as the university Professor will find in the Qur'aan that which will suffice him.

How do you present proof of this religion to those who do not speak the language of the Arabs or know anything about the inimitable eloquence of the Qur'aan? Is it the only way for them to learn this language of the Arabs and to master its sciences? The answer, of course, is no. Allah, may He be Glorified and Exalted, has shown mercy to them and to all other generations by sending the appropriate evidence to all mankind, irrespective of their different races, languages, and times.

Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart. "A new year gained or a new year lost??" By Asma bint Shameem Zoom! Before we knew it, last year passed by like a flash and the new year is here...whether it is 2010 CE or 1431 of the Hijri Calendar. For some people, the beginning of the new year is marked by excited countdowns, popping of firecrackers, partying till the wee hours of the morning and dancing. And for some, it is a time for somber thoughtfulness and self accountability. Instead of celebrating, they are worried and scared. Instead of partying, they think and reflect. Their hearts tremble and their skins shiver.

A friendly reminder for yourself.

Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart. "Make peace.....its one of the noblest things" by Asma bint Shameem We decided to meet for lunch. We were all excited. After all, we were getting together after a long time. As we sat at our table, we started talking, catching up on all that had happened in the past few years, when I noticed a bit of tension developing between two of my friends. Then, all of a sudden, right before my very eyes, before I knew it, it blew up into a horrible argument. Angry words flew between the two of them and before I could do anything to stop it, both my friends stormed out of the place, vowing to never talk to each other ever again! "Subhaan Allaah! ....what just happened here?" I said to myself, trying to digest the horrible incidence that just took place. Two of my dear friends fighting with each other!

There's a most interesting segment of FQ's class. And that is learning a sentence or two (in Arabic) from the book from each lesson. Repeating it over and over again does help in getting you over the shyness or hesitation you feel with Arabic. Saying it out loud also has a direct effect on your heart. You actually start feeling it. Somehow, it's fun too. :P We learnt from our first lesson, كل من احب الله انس به ومن احب غير الله عذب به [Rough translation:] Whoever will love Allah, will feel affability (closeness) through it. And whoever will love (someone) other than Allah, will feel torture through it.
