Reminiscent Stories

A year ago, I attended a Poetry Jam and that's when my life changed for the better. I now love poetry more than anything else in this world. Inside this book are some of the poems I've written. Enjoy!

A few words describing one of the many times my dad has unwittingly said something so insightful that it has shaped the way I perceive my life and the world around me :)

"Need Ice Cream? " he questioned. I raise my hands in the air giving him the bored look " is that even a question that you mouth should ask when you know exactly that the response will be positive what's wrong with you today?" "No what's wrong with you you've been petty all day" he cross his arm on my neck "Wow don't do that. There could maybe my future boyfriend out here searching for me and you block his place" I took his hand but he blocked me "Noooo you wouldn't find your future boyfriend today, he can go to hell." He said kissing my forehead " I'm you boyfriend today" he smirk. In a bit of a heart beat, things could change because things happen. You could be the luckiest person in the world or the opposite of it. My life was a total mess before it even starts. I'm always on the bad side of everything, still asking myself if I'm not cursed at birth or something of a kind.

In the motions words still my frenzy. In the silence they learn to breathe. When I lose them I lose my footing; when I find them, I find I'm free. A collection of personal poems. This will be updated as I write, which will unfortunately be extremely sporadic :)

I'm not expecting much from these scribbles, mostly just a place in which to put them. x) If you enjoy them, then fantastic!! :) Anyway, I've been wanting to write fanfiction and/or some original stories, but I'm not quite sure how everything works yet - this is sortof my way of testing the waters... We've been friends since forever and I've been loving him since then. But when I said "we've been friends" I didn't mean just the two of us. I love him but he didn't love me back. I let him go but things happened and I found myself falling and falling and the only way to save myself from greater heartache is to runaway.
