{COMPLETED} "Listen to me Hanna. You're just fifteen and I'm twenty-three. You can still find someone out there much better than me, who's closer to your age. I'm sorry Hanna but I, I just couldn't wait for you." She gently touched my hand then holds it tightly with a sweet smile while uttering these words. "But you'll come back for me right? It would not take too long and by then I wouldn't be a little girl anymore. Please tell me you will Dave." Sixteen years old Dave and his mom recently moved in a town. An eight years old girl named Hanna from a house next door came to welcome them . After sometime they became closer but little did he know that the girl was secretly in love with him. Will their relationship develop even with the wide distance in their age? Or Hanna will continuously be just a little sister to Dave as time goes by?

" Marry me Dami!" He hitched closer till his face was close to hers and she could feel his breathe brush her skin. "Just marry me! You should be thankful I'm granting you your wish" "Your sister's" she turned to go but he held her just in time and very close to himself. The eyes on it's owner were the colour of blood, one could tell he was trying to fight the tears to stay in, but it seemed that was likely not to be. "Marry me Dami" he repeated, his words barely a whisper but she could hear from the proximity. "You must marry me!" The book weaves around the life activity of a 27 year old lady, Damilola Adebowale whose dream has been deferred due to her past and she tries to forget there's a part of her life that exists.

I am bored. I am a living, walking dead. I am a zombie. Its like that moment when you are supposed to wake up out of the hazy dream that is the first part of your life. Like that moment when you step out of childhood, out of the whimsical world of a childs mind and into adulthood. But i'm past that. I'm way into my adulthood and i am so, so bored... Music that goes well with the story: Cold souls- Dickon Hinchliffe Phone call- John Brion Look at me- Krister Linder Comptine d'un autre été, L'après-midi- Yann Tiersen

Kera was nineteen when the world as she knew it changed. She would have considered that discovering that life existed outside Earth to be a thrilling experience but little did she know the price that she would be asked to pay for that. Fifteen years later, her entire young adult life seems to converge to this one point of time. All her achievements, all her loses, all her love, all her confusion, all her questions and it was time for some answers. Her pain at losing the world as she knew it, her struggles to make a place for herself in the new one and the one person whom she perceived to be the link between the two worlds and herself. This is Kera's journey of not losing herself and finding everything else, her journey through the second that changed her life, the story of a second's difference.
