Wellston's prom night is around the corner and the Royals announced that, this time, the girls would be in charge of asking the boys out. While Remi felt confident about her idea, she never expected to see the girls' excitement get out of control. Wherever she looked, she would see a guy desperately trying to be at the top of the beauty rankings that were being published all around the school. Things get a little too personal when a certain someone discovers that he is considered ugly by the entire student body.

Don't smile if you don't mean it, Remi. The thought hung heavy in his mind. He didn't want to see her smile if she didn't mean it. The positivity that spewed out of her mouth was fake. She was feeling just as hurt and drained as he was. Though he felt the need for her to brighten up his mood, Blyke couldn't bear to see her like this and couldn't stand her faux positivity. He wished that just once she'd drop the act and express the turmoil she was truly feeling. It pained him to think that she didn't feel comfortable expressing such a delicate, weak side of her.
