Ever wondered what it would be like to watch the world burn? Well, if I don't find them soon enough - I'll burn before the world can. They say I've stolen the Remnants? What blasphemy, I can barely remember yesterday's lunch. In fact, I can't remember much of my recent past. As much as I hate running, I'm now in a race: they've set the path for my execution and the only thing that can stop it is proving my innocence, or at least restoring the Remnants for starters. I don't particularly want to die, so I'll fight. Half-baked memories, a messy assortment of weapons and a ragtag group of friends should do the trick, right?

A story about a young man leading the remnants of the Stormcloak Rebellion 10 years after it's founder's death.

My name is Ariana Clove. I see ghosts, remnants, specters, the whole list. But, witches and THAT kind of thing are fake. They simply don't exist. My twin sister, Carter, can see them too, but not at all like me. To her, they are fuzzy, half-shaped images and garbled words. To me they are clear as day, and I hear their words like they are standing right next to me. There WILL be minor swearing in this book. Read at your own risk. I've warned you.
