Sayaka Maizono is like any other Ultimate. But she is one of the more popular Ultimates, because she holds the title Pop Sensation. It was all normal until the Tragedy happened. She was trapped into a Killing Game, and was killed because of her own selfish desire to leave. And that was when her story ended. But what if she had a different fate? What if she was never put into a Killing Game? What if... she wasn't an Ultimate? Will she take a different path?

He glanced at Kyoko, wondering if he was the only one whom saw it but she was cradling Asahina on her arms with a rare smile on her face. Togami was trying to pry Toko's hand on his arm while Yasuhiro was cheering from the background. None of them was even bothered by Enoshima's death. But despite the initial joy he was feeling, a cold chill ran down his spine remembering Junko Enoshima's smile at end, and how she easily accepted her execution. Somehow, he knew that her death is a catalyst of something more sinister.

Alternate Universe: Junko's plan got delayed a year for unspecified reasons, so the events happened a year later. hence, 79th class. Y/N stayed home sick with a 103-degree fever the day the most despairing, atrocious incident happened. Now she has to survive it while being sick, until she met the remnants of despair. Note: This fanfic is being rewritten.
