The company 2A has turned Digimon into the most popular franchise in the world, thanks to their popular smart phone app, Digi-RUSH. Using their D.H.A.I.V.R system working in unison with the Digi-RUSH app, mindbogglingly realistic holograms of digimon now roam every populated continent in the world, and are capable of responding to unique everyday situations. Interractions with their tamers, fighting other hologram digimon, and even uniquely reacting to everything around them. Even the holograms bumping into a tree yields a different reaction from bumping into a truck. Thanks to the D.H.A.I.V.R system, digimon's popularity has soared to history-making heights, causing other franchises such as pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh to be nearly forgotten entirely. Due to the existence of a "digital world," 2A is capable of running the D.H.A.I.V.R system, and has achieved the first game in history to be close to a nobel prize. However, not all is at peace. In the digital world, its leader, BlitzMyotismon, is plotting an offensive against the human world. He is sending in RUSH digimon, which mainfest into physically solid forms, and enables them to wreck havoc on the human world. Humanity faces a massive threat. Or even worse... ...but not all hope is lost! 2A has a secret expansion pass to Digi-RUSH. A few lucky, randomly selected, players of Digi-RUSH will receive a special code that unlocks the expansion, known as the Rushvisor. It enables their partner digimon to manifest into RUSH digimon, and fight the invading forces. Feel the rush, oh Digidestines! The time for you to download your own legacy is now!

Since she can't control her power very well, she chose to wear an eyepatch over her eye that turned crimson. And because of her eyepatch and due to the fact that she is an orphan, she is bullied by her classmates. But because of protection from her bestfriend Rena (renamon) the bullies usually stay away from her when she is around. One day a transfer student arrives at the school......

If you haven't read book 1 The Quest for Onyx I would highly recommend that you read it before you read this one or you'll be lost!! Peace is never anything but a fantasy for Essix. She survived her first encounter with Dr Rabies. After befriending the two clones of herself, Essix goes back home to her village. She thought she would get some time to relax, but Essix was wrong. Dr Rabies is looking for the Elementals so he can use their powers for his own plans. Essix will have to set off on yet another journey to find them before any harm comes to Orea. But in the shadows a darkness hides, waiting to pounce. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alright so I made this story a year ago. There are probably going to be some mistakes and I apologize for that but I hope you all enjoy :) Like my other book Essix and some of the other characters are modeled after Renamon I do not own Renamon the creators of Digimon do. The modifications I made to Renamon and the story line are mine though.
