Billy was raised along side the Royals--better known as the ones who were Fairytales--but she herself never was one. She's a Renegade, or a Fable. With her older brother and younger sister, they make the next three billy goats. Her sister, though, has thought it would be a great idea to fall in love with the other half to their fable--the troll who lives under the bridge. And when Billy's sister gets kidnapped by the Nameless--those who aren't recognized by the fairytale council--the troll is very forceful when he says he's coming to help find her. Along with two other Renegades, they go searching, but what happens in the end is nothing to what they thought.
