Wire - Synopsis
Ford Pierce was just an ordinary man until the night his heart shattered. After his longtime love, Louise, left him, Ford stormed into a violent, citywide thunderstorm, desperate to escape the pain. But when a powerful, otherworldly bolt of lightning struck him, it changed him forever. The strike transformed Ford into a being of pure electric energy-a phantom force that roamed the world without a heartbeat, without touch, and without the ability to experience human emotions.
For over three decades, Ford, now known as "Ray," drifted alone, an invisible entity trapped between life and death. Isolated and unseen, he became a silent observer, forgotten by time and the people he once knew.
That is, until Alessa Ali, a young, fearless reporter, stumbled upon his presence. Drawn to the mystery surrounding Ray's energy, she became the first human in years able to see and communicate with him. Curious and compassionate, Alessa nicknamed him "Ray" and sought to uncover the truth behind his spectral existence.
As Alessa and Ray spend time together, a deep bond forms between them-a connection unlike anything either has known. But their friendship, laced with bittersweet affection, comes with a cost. Ray is bound to the world by forces beyond his control, and Alessa's human life is as fragile as ever.
In a heart-wrenching finale, Wire explores the limits of connection, the cost of transformation, and the tragic beauty of love that exists beyond time.o
