Renfest Stories

Lucy Heartfilia and friends are at the Magnolia Renaissance Festival for her first time. Things get even more exciting for her when she watches Natsu Dragneel the fire entertainer perform an act. (Hiro Mashima owns Fairy Tail.)

Kalda is a dwarf in a city filled with trolls, fairies, ghouls, and sprites, yet every weekend they venture out to the local RenFest. What they find there is an escape with adventure and a little bit of romance. A bit of an experiment in gender neutral pronouns, written for a friend who requested a story about a dwarf barista and their librarian barbarian girlfriend who attend RenFests in an already magical world.

The second part in my trilogy of the young boy. A Tale From Before is the first, and now that our young Storyteller is freed of his captor, he has the whole world to explore. At long last, he is able to settle into a life that erases his past from him and allows him to shed the weight he may have carried before. Starvation and lack of funds have nothing on him. A few good friends on a few good adventures will carry him to his final Story which even he does not know about yet.
