The mountains during the winter season were flooded with snow, even stepping outside would put your foot deep in the white frost. It was dangerous, and dark, and the perfect place for demons to hunt. Many demons would hide in the trees and caves, and hunt any foolish human who went outside in mist and fog of winter and snow. So, many demon slayers were trained on mountains as to be prepared for the terrain demons would hide typically hide in. It was supposed to be a simple mission.

Tanjiro Rengoku is the younger sibling of Kyojuro rengoku and the older brother of Senjuro rengoku. he was adopted by shinjuro rengoku (the dad) after tanjiro's family was murdered by Kibutsuju Muzan.
