Naruto Namikaze: The Heir of the Fourth
What if Naruto Uzumaki had never grown up believing he was alone?
What if, from the moment he was old enough to understand, he knew the truth-that his father was Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, and his mother was Kushina Uzumaki, the legendary jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails?
And what if Naruto wasn't merely talented?
What if he possessed an intellect so extraordinary that his IQ was believed to be over 300, making him the sharpest young mind Konoha had ever produced?
On the night Naruto is born, the Nine-Tails breaks free from Kushina. Minato and Kushina sacrifice themselves to save their son and the village, leaving Naruto as the last living connection to both of their legacies. Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, takes Naruto under his protection and eventually becomes his personal mentor.
But Hiruzen refuses to let Naruto grow up ignorant of his heritage.
Naruto learns about Minato.
He learns about Kushina.
He learns about the Uzumaki clan.
He learns about the Nine-Tails.
And he inherits the Namikaze estate, his father's journals, weapons, research, and unfinished techniques.
Instead of growing up as Konoha's lonely prankster, Naruto becomes something completely different: a calm, analytical, fiercely determined young shinobi who studies everything he can find.
Hiruzen teaches him that being a shinobi isn't simply about strength.
