Some say dying is painful, others say it is peaceful, like you are satisfied with yourself; but I say total bullshit! There's no wings and love or fiery pits and agony. Instead you're stuck in an endless, antagonizing, humiliating, suffering, painful, loop; and there is no getting out of it. The fear of breaking away from the chain of comfort and accept my fate is by far the scariest thing I can think of, scarier than dying a million and one times in a million and one different ways. This is my death experience, my love that can never aspire, and my pain that will continue in my own created hell.

I've been feeling pretty controversial lately, I guess. And everything having to do with the presidential election has just been going to shit. It's pretty frustrating. And one of my outlets happens to be writing, so yeah. This poem is a comment on the repetition of the past, specifically dealing with xenophobia. The shunning of our fellow humans in need... It's just disgusting. This is just my opinion, of course. So if you're offended, I apologize.
