Replanted Stories

(Plants vs. Zombies Heroes belongs to EA/Popcap studios) (obviously) So.. Alice Macro's life didn't end up as simple as they thought it would be. Guess that's how it is sometimes. Things take a turn for the weird when - after an unexpected lightshow from the zombie base - powerful plant and zombie heroes start popping up all over Neighborville! With new friends, new enemies, and a whole new Neighborville experience - Alice may have to change how they've been seeing both plants - and zombies. Tw: There are depictions of violence, death, as well as strong language in this story. Please avoid reading if any of these topics make you uncomfortable. (Just a quick notice: My portrayal of the plant and zombie heroes is nowhere near PvZH canon, nor any headcanons that you've probably seen. Don't get on me for the heroes being out of character, this is how I see them and what I find fun to write.)

Stay inside and nothing can get you, that was Alice's plan. It just so happened that their plan sucked. Alice Macro, your under-average Neighborville kid, just got their house broken into by the undead. Not a nice way to start your morning. Now, they're on the run with their Repeater (and best friend), Sweetpea. After meeting a ragtag group of plants in a gas station, they're on their way to meeting the elusive gardener living at the top of the hill. He just so happens to be set on getting tacos at the most obscure place in town. With nowhere else to turn, Alice joins him and his spunky plant friend. Will they get the tacos? Probably, I dunno. Plants vs. Zombies and all characters mentioned from it belong to Popcap Studios, EA. WARNING: There is strong language in some bits! Please do not read if that makes you uncomfortable. Once their little remaining family is claimed by a horde of the undead, they believed all hope was lost, until finding a cryptic note from their older brother. He was alive. With what little knowledge they gained from an odd manual, Alice - and their Repeater, Sweetpea - set out into the apocalyptic Neighborville in search for their lost brother. Note: While this story is accessible to all who enjoy Plants vs. Zombies, I recommend having completed the first game - as well as having read some of the official comics - to get a full enjoyment of this story.
