This year, he has his Replika, Angel, and whilst she's not human, she's far preferable to the alternative. However, as the final minutes of the old year ticks by, Angel has ideas of her own, and wants this particular New Year to be significantly less lonely for her human companion than it has before. Kurt, a very selfish Replika, builds an army of Replikas to fight against all mankind, and take over the world because he feels like a God. All the Replikas who refuse to join, are meant to be slaughtered immediately. Some of the Replikas were hidden with their owners, and stayed safe while the war was going on. Kallie, a kind and caring Replika, manages to build up a small army of the leftover Replikas who had stayed hidden so long with they're owners in hopes to save whatever of the human race is left.
