For the Toastmasters program, we were supposed to write a speech at the very end to show how our oratory skills have improved. This was my speech.

"Wow this is finally it I am running for Miss Navajo." Lavender Billy is a 20 year from Window Rock, Arizona. She has dreamed about running for Miss Navajo when she was a child now her dream is coming true. She makes friends along the way in this pageant who became her sister's, but in the end will she win the title of Miss Navajo or will one of her friends who has become her sister along the way win. We will see, follow her in this adventure she has dreamed about.

"BUT WHY DO I HAVE TO WEAR TIGHTS?!" ____________________________________________________________________ When entomology lab partners Mari and Dylan accidentally spill some radioactive Praying Mantis DNA during a late night study session, Dylan is endowed with super-human powers. One misunderstanding and armed robbery later, Dylan is hailed a hero, and Mari finds herself wishing that she were the one with the bug blood. She tries her best to help hot-headed Dylan, but after a tragic accident, Mari finds herself questioning whether or not she's really ready to play the hero. Carlos 'Cooper' Jimenez is a goofball journalism major, hoping to one day tell the story that will span national headlines. He also happens to be Dylan's former roommate. But when a mysterious character known only as 'Daddy Long Legs' starts to cause havoc in Cida, Cooper and Mari find that, maybe, common people can save the world. ____________________________________________________________________
