Sanskriti steps foot in Mumbai after a decade. The city reminds her of her past, a time marked by rebellion, fights, manipulation, anguish, tears and the final liberation. Sanskriti believes that she has moved on, moved on from them and everything they did to her. Her stay in the city shatters those beliefs. Suddenly, she feels eighteen again, the resentment at her hero for letting her down being the strongest of all the emotions. The kind where women talk - loud, mean, in side-eye and silence - and children take sides. But the telling keeps tearing. Sometimes a voice cuts in. Impatient. Modern. Talking to you like you're across the table with chai. Words swap when she's rushing. Sentences run when she's mad. She says she's just trying to get the story out before she loses it. She says the elder way is the right way. She doesn't sound convinced. By the time the crow shits on forty seasons, you'll know two things: One: This story is about a girl who won't learn. Two: The narrator never sat still. Just a girl, a pen, and forty seasons before she says 'I'.

For two months, they survived together, until a satyr was sent to bring Thalia to camp half blood because she was a daughter of Zeus. On their way, they were attacked by more monsters, the closer they got to camp, the more monster attacks until finally, they got to half blood hill were Thalia sacrificed herself so that they could be safe. Zeus turned her into a pine tree to preserve her life force. After they got to camp, Luke and Annabeth were claimed almost immediately but Penny was never claimed. Each day, for five years, Penny would wake up hoping whoever her godly parent was would remember her until slowly she started to lose hope of ever being claimed.That was until Percy Jackson came along... I don't own any of the Percy Jackson characters. I only own Penny and her actions.
