Please do not be fooled by the name. This tale is about Gregor. I have read Suzanne Collins' Underland Chronicles several times. To me, the Code of Claw is a heart-wrenching tragedy. I do not wish to leave Gregor, Luxa and the Underland in war-torn despair. As such, I have written this story in an effort to heal some of the wounds which the Chronicles may have left in you. This, hopefully without taking away from the original epic - for it is truly an epic. Thanks, Shnarfinbarf DISCLAIMER: I own nothing that is Collins'.

WARNING: MAJOR spoilers for the K-Pop Demon Hunters movie! If you haven't seen it, go watch it! This story is seen from the perspective of Rumi, ever since the death-or disappearance-of a particular character (whom I will not mention in case someone who doesn't know is reading this) through her journal entries. This is a story about overcoming grief, cherishing memories, and accepting change. Everything in this story is a work of fanfiction and should not be taken as cannon content unless it happened in the movie and I am referencing or mentioning it. Credit for all characters, events, and scenes go to the movie creators. I hope you like this story!

"The poet is a liar who always speaks the truth." -Jean Cocteau. Words are deceptive, leading us to believe that which isn't true. But poetry cannot lie. It is the language of a heart unchained, unburdened by the trials that demand we be strong. Poetry is a crying out of the soul. And so, contained within, the outcries of my soul. Cover image with the help of oxxlizzyxxo I wrote most of this when I was a freshman/sophomore in high school. I'm adding some new stuff now and it's going to be more free form a lot of the time I think. As always, read and review!
