Most of us misunderstood what faith truly is. I realized my mistake and repented, and I hope we will do the same after reading this book.
It is not far from us. At times, we stumble upon the essence of faith, but because we rarely practice it, we fail to recognize it. Our error comes from focusing on what faith produces and mistakenly calling those results "faith." As a result, we have turned to countless self-help techniques-ones not rooted in Christ-in an attempt to sustain a false version of faith.
I do not deny that we often seek a sense of audacity to believe that things are possible or under control. However, we fail to see that audacity is not faith itself but rather a primary byproduct of true faith.
This book teaches the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ in simple and clear terms.
Faith is not foreign to us, but it is slippery. We must therefore recognize it, take hold of it, and allow it to produce the audacity we need-along with its tangible outcomes.
