This is my first story. It is based off my Golden Retriever Oliver. This is a short story about Joe. I will hopefully write some more. Joe is a small Golden Retriever. At first he's not really seen as good for anything. But looks can be deceiving.

Ellie is a Golden Retriever dog hybrid about to be auctioned off to a random stranger. It's common to get a hybrid now, as to humans they are nothing but pets except better and much more fascinating. They aren't taught how to read, write, or even how to talk correctly. Some hybrids are used as slaves and others are used as sex toys. If they aren't bought by the age of eighteen, they are sent to a science lab to be studied, or killed. But not all cases are bad, just the ones who are born into it, like Ellie. What happens when Ellie is sold to Zayn Malik? What if he has a cat hybrid named Harry? Will they get along? What will Zayn do when he discovers Ellie comes from a long line of dog hybrids who has a strong dog side and has a history of abuse from both people and hybrids for having such rare genetics? Will she ever be able to trust Zayn, Harry, or their friends? Will she ever be able to escape the fear she has from her past? Will Zayn ever be able to change her?
